"I am a Sudanese-born visual artist and lecturer based in Nairobi, working across painting, sculpture, photography, collage, and poetry. My practice explores themes of identity, memory, displacement, and hope—reflecting on the tensions and harmonies of modern life. I draw inspiration from my Sudanese heritage while engaging with broader African and global narratives. By blending realism and abstraction, I seek to create visual stories that move between the tangible and the poetic. Through my work, I aim to restore balance, spark dialogue, and give voice to the silenced experiences that shape our shared humanity."
